Saw that both Garuda Aviation and Insight Aviation have deployed 5 students each to 43 Air School (South Africa’s largest flight school with something like 50 to 70 aircraft in operation).
Had heard previously that the school was already full of students. Anyone have any updates?
I saw that in May another five Garuda Indigo student pilots joined 43, and five Insight Aviation students joined.
Didn’t some of the Insight Indigo students also go to the Philippines?
Yes, I heard that too! Just checked today, and interesting to see that there is a cost difference between the Insight Aviation Indigo Cadet Pilot Program and the Garuda Aviation Indigo Cadet Pilot Program of almost USD 4,000.
Garuda Aviation currently states that their program pricing is $131,000 USD
Insight Aviation currently states that their program pricing is $127,500 USD
I wonder why there’s the pricing difference if the training takes place in the same school. Do you know where they do their A320 type rating?
